2008 Mt Difficulty Roaring Meg Pinot Noir

Aroma:  We detected scents of cranberries, pomegranate, cedar, black crushed pepper, mocha and cherries.

Palate:  Flavours included cedar and tart cranberries.  The texture was light.

Verdict:  The Roaring Meg had good acids and was well balanced.  We voted it to second place. (from six NZ Pinot Noirs tasted blind)
